Our stay at John’s was excellent! Spacious! We were 6 couples and each could find our place and our independence in this house! There was even another room with a additional sofa bed! The view from the lounge is beautiful, the pool and the activities available (ping pong, petanque etc ...) are more than appreciable. The house is very well equipped, and the kitchen suitable for large meals !! The reception was also very good, John is contactable and available for any information or question, even if his explanatory sheet for the operation of the house is very detailed! Thank you for allowing us to have a good holiday!

We had a fantastic week in John's lovely and spacious villa in the hills overlooking Apt! We felt quite at home, and enjoyed the experience immensely. The house and grounds and views are all amazing, and the photos don't do it all justice! It is much more grand in person! We are a family of 4, but the house has 5 bedrooms, and a cabana by the pool, so it can accommodate a much larger family/group quite comfortably. Everything was neat, tidy, and clean, and the modern kitchen has all the amenities you could ever want or need. We prepared quite a few meals there at the home, and really enjoyed having dinner all together at the kitchen table with a breeze coming through the open shutters. (We had breakfast out on the little balcony in front and enjoyed watching birds flit about in the garden, and taking in views of Saignon in the distance.) The pool was amazing! It is large and clean, and surrounded by flowers, trees, and a hedge, which makes it feel quite secluded. There are a dozen lounge chairs, and a massive umbrella that can give you some shade from the afternoon sun. The kids loved it, and spent most of their holiday splashing around, and so it was hard to drag them out of the pool for meals or outings! The house is in a great location, very quiet and private, but offering easy access to Apt, which proved to be really convenient. There are large grocery stores for stocking up on provisions and wine, but also a lot of small boulangeries, patisseries, cafes, and bistrots. It's also close to many other smaller villages of the Luberon. We had dinner in Villars one night, and St Saturnin des Apt another night. We headed to Bonnieux for lunch one day, and also explored Lacoste, and St Martin de Castillon. All are with a half-hour's drive. All in all, we loved our time in the house, were sad to leave, and we highly recommend it. Thanks John for a great week!
